Cosmic Fields

The Cosmic Fields Collection is a body of work inspired by snowy winter sunrises. The first hint color comes through my studio windows as the earth slowly pulls towards the sun.  The surrounding white taking on the colors as blue reveals pink and then eventually yellow. 

These paintings explore the tensions between the mind's focus on order and form, and the 'flow' state that generates strokes and colors without any consideration of reality.  Pulling apart the connection between reality and imagination, the Cosmic Field Paintings are just that: the result of cosmic play, the disconnection from the Mind. 

Reminiscent of the coastal cliffs of Brittany, and the alpine facades of the Pyrenees, these paintings go beyond landscape... and dive into the fantasy of epigenetic imagination.
